Your generous support enables the Friends of Sulgrave Manor to carry out our mission to preserve Sulgrave Manor, the ancestral home of George Washington, located in England. Built in 1539, Sulgrave Manor has stood as a symbol of peace and friendship between the United States and the United Kingdom since 1914 when it was purchased by the Peace Centenary Committee to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the signing of the Treaty of Ghent.

The Friends of Sulgrave Manor is a U.S. based non-profit organization as described in Section 501(c)(3) of the U.S. Internal Revenue Code. All gifts made to the Friends of Sulgrave Manor are tax deductible for U.S. tax purposes to the extent allowed by law.
